It's Official

Jazmin Jane Peterson

We are so excited that the adoption is official and we can now say she is our daughter, not our "foster daughter". It was a wonderful day, the judge was awesome, gave the kids toys, let them play with the gavel, and was genuinely overjoyed for us. We had the official court hearing at 8:30 this morning, and then headed back to the house for a little brunch.

Fun in Plainview

I headed down to Plvw this last Mon and Tues. It was an impromptu trip and I ended up leaving Mizz Jazmin home with daddy and her nurses. That being said, I saw more "old friends" this trip than the last 3 combined. I was able to visit with my maid of honor, my BFF from high school and her kids-see pics above, and two different gals I used to babysit for-one of whom brought her 6'2" 16 year old son. (am I really getting that old?) It was a wonderfully relaxing couple days, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time Jaz gets to come, we missed her too much.
