Grandma had a get together for all of us. It was just to get us all in one spot since it had been quite a while. It was a nice day visiting with family, taking pictures, and eating catered Famous Dave's.

Updates

The following updates may be out of order to to my inability to organize my pictures. It's one of the reason I haven't updated in a long time. Bear with me, and hopefully it will get better soon.

Getting the garden ready

I'm very excited to have a larger garden than last year. I'm still in the learning phase, but have come a long way in the last two years. Our neighbor came over with his tiller and tilled up my garden plot from last year. I barely filled 1/4th of it last year, and now I'm afraid I won't have enough room for everything I plan to plant this year. So far I've started cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, roma tomatoes, yellow pear tomatoes, yellow and red peppers, jalapeno peppers, and carrots. I've been promised apples and plums from a neighbor's tree and can't wait to make applesauce and jam!
